The Secret to a Peaceful Retreat

Prepare to De-tox:

  • Reflect on what you'd like to consume (and what you'd like to avoid consuming!) during the 4 days of the retreat, in terms of food, drink, reading, internet, films and so on.
  • Make a resolution for how much (or how little) you intend to be on your device, email or other apps during the retreat. To guard your simplicity and peace, you could commit to a maximum amount of minutes per day, or perhaps one specific time, eg. 6pm. You can write down this commitment and post it somewhere to remind you.
  • Communicate with your loved ones and friends to ask for their support.
